Our process
They key to our success is knowing you, our client. Lawson Luxury Travel uses a Brownell’s collaborative, process-driven approach, Discover More, to designing personalized travel specifically for you.
DISCOVER
We start the design of each trip we create with a complimentary discovery session to get to know you and your vision for your trip. During this conversation, we want to learn about your past travel experiences, likes, dislikes, why you want to travel and how we can make this trip spectacular for you. At this time, we will also review Lawson Luxury Travel’s consulting fees and explain our design process in detail.
DESIGN
During this phase of the trip planning process, we put all our resources and expertise to work for you. We design a custom itinerary based on our Discover conversation that brings your vision for the trip to life and try to include some extras you might not have thought about. You can be as involved or hands off as you like.
CONNECT
Once your itinerary is finalized, we will stay in touch with you to make sure you are ready to travel, excited to travel and have all the latest information about your destination. We are always available for last minute questions, restaurant recommendations or Behind the scenes, we will be working with our partners to secure specials requests, upgrades and amenities.
Experience
Our team and partners will be available to ensure everything goes smoothly while you are traveling. We are always a phone call away if you encounter any issues while you are traveling.
SHARE
Our favorite part of this process is hearing from you during your travels, whether it be a quick text to say you are having a great time or an Instagram post of your early morning leopard cub sightings. And we can’t wait to hear all the details of your trip when you return home. We want to know what you loved and what you didn’t…honestly.

Sometimes you just don’t have enough vacation days to see all the places you want to or you want to work from a different country for a year, while your children are immersed in the the local culture and language. From one month to one year sabbaticals we help individuals plan all aspects of these adventures and are available throughout the entire travel experience if something goes “bump”.

A complete, personalized travel solution! These itineraries include accommodations, transportation, tours & guides, activities, dining, spa, special access, VIP amenities, exclusive experiences you won’t find on the internet, local recommendations and more. There are no “packaged” trips. Every detail is specific to you and your travel style.
HOTEL BOOKINGS
We provide VIP, hotel-only consultations and bookings for business and leisure travel. When we book your hotel, we make sure you receive the best amenities available, which may include potential upgrades, free breakfast or spa credit, and receive the full benefit and value of our exclusive hotel partner relationships.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel is always an adventure, no matter how much planning and preparation is done. Weather, transportation and other things out of our control can often cause trip cancellations. We are committed to making sure your investment in your trip is protected and most importantly, providing you peace of mind throughout the planning and travel experience.
rates
Lawson Luxury Travel is a full-service travel consultancy that offers a wide range of professional services, and like everything travel-related, there are often unique situations and we can discuss fees for your situation on an individual basis.
Travel Design Fee
$375 for 1 - 7 days of travel for up to 5 people with an additional charge of $50/person/week thereafter. This fee is due at the initiation of the itinerary design.
A last-minute booking fee of 25% for trip requests within 30 days of travel.
Destination Consultation & Hotel Options
Start at $100.
Air Travel
Air bookings include reservation management and if anything goes wrong, we’ll handle all the logistics and save you the frustration.
Domestic, Mexico & the Caribbean – $75/ticket with $250 max per family
International & Cuba – $100 per ticket with $400 max per family
Private air bookings carry no additional fee for clients already planning a trip with Lawson Luxury Travel.
